Etcheverry leads the head-to-head 2-0, having won in Rio and Monte-Carlo earlier this year, although this will be their first meeting on hard court. He is now Argentina’s third-ranked player.

Moutet may not have much left in the tank after such a grueling match in the previous round, whilst the fresher Etcheverry has performed admirably thus far and may have the advantage. Moutet has won five singles events on the ITF World Tennis Tour and six on the ATP Challenger Tour.
