Although it won’t look exactly the same, Saturday Night Live is returning for its 51st season. A number of fans have left, including Heidi Gardner and Ego Nwodim. However, one thing never changes: Kenan Thompson, who is about to embark on his incredible 22nd season.
‘Saturday Night Live’ Season 51
Doja Cat will be the musical guest on this season of Saturday Night Live, which will debut on October 4 and be hosted by Bad Bunny for the second time. Role Model joins Amy Poehler for her third appearance (and her second as a single host) on October 11. On October 18, Sabrina Carpenter will serve as both the host and musical guest, capping up the month.

NBC has announced that Bad Bunny will host the launch of the sketch show’s upcoming season on October 4th, featuring musical guest Doja Cat. Bad Bunny will be hosting “SNL” for the second time. In May’s Season 50 finale, he made his third appearance on the show as a musical guest for host Scarlett Johansson.
Sabrina Carpenter
Then, on October 18, Sabrina Carpenter will serve as both the show’s host and musical guest. Carpenter has been on “SNL” multiple times, but this will be her first time hosting the show.
She also appeared on a Quinta Brunson-hosted show in May and performed with Paul Simon at the February “SNL” 50th anniversary special.

The statement coincides with ongoing repercussions from ABC’s surprise decision to stop Jimmy Kimmel’s show after the Federal Communications Commission pressed the comedian over remarks he made on Charlie Kirk’s murder and President Donald Trump’s response to it.
Bad Bunny and Amy Poehler
With musical guest Role Model, former “SNL” cast member Amy Poehler will host the show again the following week.
NBC, the network that broadcasts “SNL,” has already begun to receive calls from Trump to axe its late-night programs, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” Bad Bunny and Amy Poehler are among the October stars.
